We allow men to get away with things

Fate of the Furious star Charlize Theron says she thinks men have it easy, while women have to struggle through a lot even today.

The 41-year-old actor says it is a societal problem, reported Elle magazine.

“I do think that men have it a lot easier than women. I think men are forgiven for their mistakes much easier than women. It’s a societal thing. I think we allow men to get away with things and we’re harsher with women,” says Theron.

The Fate of the Furious actor says sometimes women end up being the “worst enemies” of other women.

“We’ve got to work on that. I don’t like that. We keep talking about that but we’re sometimes the worst enemy of other females and we have to change that,” she adds.
